This class is for beginner to intermediate students. No prior experience necessary. Through a variety of projects and themes, students will learn basic and intermediate hand building techniques, such as coiling, slabs, pinching, as well as using the extruder to create fun and one-of a kind projects. Build a variety of sculptural and functional forms with interesting surface design. A great way to explore all the things clay can do!
You will explore different decorating and glazing techniques.
Instructor: Laura Elm
**Open Studio is on Mondays from 4-6pm and is time for students to practice what they are learning in class and have extra studio time to finish any projects.
Cost also includes ALL materials: clay, underglazes, glazes and firing fees, as well as open studio time..
