6-Week Adult Handbuilding Ceramics Class

This six-week handbuilding ceramics class is designed for adults of all experience levels who want to explore clay without the wheel.

Participants will work with pinch, coil, and slab construction to create both functional and sculptural pieces. Each week introduces new skills such as form building, joining, surface texture, and basic design principles, with plenty of time for experimentation and individual projects. Glazing and finishing techniques will be covered so students can bring their work to completion.

No prior ceramics experience is required. Beginners will gain a strong foundation, while returning students can refine their skills and take on more complex forms with individualized support.

All materials, glazes, and firings are included. By the end of the course, students will leave with a collection of finished ceramic pieces and a deeper connection to the process of working with clay.

**Open Studio is on Mondays from 4-6pm and is time for students to practice what they learning in class and have extra studio time to finish any projects.

Cost also includes ALL materials: clay, underglazes, glazes and firing fees, as well as open studio time..
